Order and delivery terms
General
The seller of the products is Vinhan Kirjakauppa Oy (business ID 3263590-8), Ruovedentie 15, 34600 Ruovesi, Finland. We sell our products to adult private individuals in Finland. The prices of all of our products include value-added tax. We reserve the right to make changes to the prices and postage.
Ordering
The products are ordered at the address https://vinhankirjakauppa.fi. All orders are confirmed in an email message that states the price of the order, the cost of delivery and the products ordered. Receiving an order confirmation requires entering an email address when making the order. Customers commit to complying with the valid terms of delivery when making the order. All customer information is handled confidentially.
Payment methods
The products and their postage are paid when making the order.
Payment methods:
- Mobile payment: Our service offers the popular MobilePay (LINK: https://www.paytrail.com/en/this-is-how-mobilepay-works)
- Online banks: The payment gateway related to payment via an online bank is implemented by Paytrail Plc (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For the user, the service works in exactly the same way as traditional online payment.
- Payment with Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard: The implementer of the payment gateway and the payment service provider is Paytrail Plc (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. In payments with Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Paytrail Oyj (Paytrail Plc) is shown as the recipient of the payment on the credit card invoice, and it forwards the payment to the seller. Paytrail Plc is a licensed payment institution.
- Collector invoice/Payment on an instalment plan: With a Collector invoice, you have an interest-free term of payment of 45 days. The Collector invoice is sent to the customer on the following banking day after the order. The invoice always has a fixed term of payment of 45 days from the time of the order (or the time of approval of the invoice). The invoices are primarily sent to the customer via email, and you can also review your open invoices at the address oma.collector.fi. The interest during the term of payment is 0%, and an invoicing fee of €3.80 is added to the first invoice. Collector invoice and payment on an instalment plan: read more below.
Payment service provider
The implementer of the payment gateway and the payment service provider is Paytrail Plc (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj (Paytrail Plc) is shown as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or credit card invoice, and it forwards the payment to the seller. Paytrail Plc is a licensed payment institution. In case of a complaint, please contact the product supplier primarily at vinha@vinhankirjakauppa.fi.
Time of delivery
As a rule, we send packages within 1-2 business days of the order. However, sometimes there may be a backlog in the processing of orders, leading to slight delay in the delivery times.
If the order includes products that are not in stock at the time of the order, the order will wait for their arrival in the stockroom. As a rule, no products can be back-ordered.
Packages are retrieved from the closest post office or parcel locker. When the package has arrived at your post office, Posti/Matkahuolto will send you a notification. Please note that the postal service/other delivery service primarily sends notifications of arrived packages only by text message or email. This means that it is important that you enter up-to-date contact information when making an order.
Processing and postage
The postage is the same regardless of the size of the package: Postal parcel €6.90, pick-up at the bookshop in Ruovesi is free. The shipping and handling costs include the postage and packing costs.
We send orders as packages via the Finnish postal service Posti, and you can track them with the tracking ID you will receive with the order confirmation. As a rule, we offer our customers the following delivery methods: Pick-up from the closest post office or Posti Parcel Point.
Posti post office:
When the package has arrived at your post office, Posti will send you a notification. Please note that Posti primarily sends notifications on the arrival of packages only by text message or email. Therefore, please enter up-to-date contact information.
Posti Parcel Point:
Pick up your package at the Posti Parcel Point nearest to you without queuing, whenever suits you best. You will be notified with a text message when you can pick up the package. Find the locations of the Posti Parcel Points here: https://www.posti.fi/en/service-points-on-map/. Please note that once you have received the text message, the package will be stored at the Parcel Point for 7 days. We reserve the right to send packages that exceed the maximum dimensions of the Parcel Point to a post office.
Right of return
According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, a product can be returned within 14 days of receiving the item. The right of return only applies to saleable products in mint condition that are unopened, unused and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for the return costs. If the product is defective, or if you want to return the product, please contact the seller first via email or telephone. Concerning any damage caused during delivery, you must contact the delivery company. The price of the returned product and the postage of the original order will be refunded via Paytrail.
Package and pad the delivery carefully. Please also include at least your name and the order number related to the return, or alternatively include a copy of the covering letter that came with the package.
If the package is not picked up from the reception point, it will be returned to us. Upon request, we will refund the price of the product(s) via the Paytrail payment service. Because we must pay the cost of the return, we will not refund the shipping and handling costs you paid when ordering.
Special offer codes and discounts
We occasionally publish special offer codes for our online shop. The discount percentage only applies to regularly priced products. If the shopping cart contains discounted items, you cannot get an additional discount for them with a special offer code. Discount with the special offer code is only applicable to regularly priced products in the shopping cart.
Use of the buyer’s personal data
Vinhan Kirjakauppa Oy processes all customer information completely confidentially. A description of the data that is collected and the way it is used can be found in a separate data protection policy. The personal data provided by the customers of the online shop for the purpose of making an order will not be disclosed to third parties.
Collector invoice and payment on an instalment plan – further information
You can either pay the sum total of the invoice on the due date or, if you wish, you can choose an instalment plan of 1-36 months. The instalment plan starts automatically after you have paid the minimum instalment shown on the invoice. If you wish, you can also pay larger instalments or pay off the remaining balance completely. With the Collector invoice/payment on an instalment plan service, you can pay for purchases up to €5,000.
The interest on the instalment plan is 1.6% per month, which corresponds to a nominal annual interest of 19.20%. An account maintenance fee of €2.95 per month is added to the invoice, which means that the actual annual interest calculated for a purchase of €1,000 is 21.3%.
The Collector invoice/payment on an instalment plan service is available for persons who are 18 years of age or older with an impeccable credit rating. Collector conducts a check in connection with the order. A reminder fee of €5 is charged for late payment and unpaid invoices in addition to a monthly interest of 1.6% for the duration of the delay.
In order to pay the invoice in instalments and draw up a running account credit agreement, you must pay the minimum sum by the due date of the invoice and sign a credit agreement with Collector Bank. See instructions on how to sign at the address oma.collector.fi.
