Revival of Vinha Bookstore

The previous owner of Vinha Bookstore (Vinhan kirjakauppa) and fourth-generation bookseller Mika Kauppinen put his bookshop up for sale in the summer of 2021. Pasi Vainio saw the news about the end of the bookshop, and finally managed to persuade Mikko Vartiainen to join him in continuing the business. They started an ambitious project that led to the restoration of the nearly 100-year-old building to its former glory while respecting its history.
